Para desk was designed to be a dynamic, yet monastic piece of furniture, all at the same time. It is a writing desk in solid oak wood which is meant to age with time. The challenge was therefore to conceive a form that is lightweight - elastic - while holding weight through the monolithic. The desk was designed for a specific place in London, which space influenced its particular shape. The trajectories, orientations and perspectives of the piece all came together to shape the desk.

The tabletop conceals a long hidden drawer.
